This is one of two of my first traps, I separated it's brother or sister, I don't know and got seven divisions from it but this one I left together and just changed out the medium, this plant is a probably about three years old but it only one in my book, my second year with it, many more plants to come.

What an absolutely beautiful plant! Why did you decide not to separate this plant any further? Also, what made you change out the medium? (Sorry for all the newbie questions).

There were several reasons I left it alone, the first being what happened to it's brother when I separated it, transplant shock, the second was some other members on the other forum suggested that I leave it to see how big it will get, the last is I just don't have room for two more pots, the one I broke up took two more to plant them in, it had been in this pot and medium since I bought it and it was time, one year since purchase. Questions are fine so don't be sorry.

AND THE PRIZE GOES TO! That has got to be the biggest pot of Flytrap I have ever seen, how old is it? and what kind is it? Absolutely @#%*$ GORGEOUS! I am humbled. If mine get close to that I will be a proud grower.

Well lol, that was an example of how a clumping plant may get like, it is the cultivar Gynormous, and the photo was the back cover of the ICPS newsletter past december or march, I don't remember.
Of course, and no ofenses, but I'm not so old lol!

A very appropriate name for that plant.
