This is a plant I bought from a vendor on e-bay for $8 last year, it was also attacked by aphids but has survived and come back. All my Sarr crosses were affected to a certain degree and some are still suffering. Attachments:

Wow! Very pretty plant. It seems like the sarracenia's are all pretty hardy.

wow nice, good thing it is coming back, they will be fine. I have on,ly losst a few plants to aphid but they were all seedlings.

I still have some damage to a couple of my pitchers that are supposed to be red but are still green, it has been a very mild summer here in L.A. only one heat wave all the other days have been in the 60's to middle 70's, very strange, lots of clouds during the morning, so the amount of sun exposure is different that last year, and the aphids and other bugs, those little black bugs that attack the pitchers themselves and suck the life out of them, I marvel at some other pictures where the plants are so clean.

Wow, you guys really have problems with them, here the fungi are the problem almost only.
