Got my first Cephalotus Follicularis yesterday and I am so excited. These are not really pitcher plants correct? I wasn't sure where to list them but I was dying to share them with you all.  |

I was going to ask the same thing. How do I feed them and do they need direct sunlight like the other CP's? I can't find much about these guys online.

Well, I always, for any plant I use tweezers for feeding, I have daphnia growing, so 1 daphnia for each pitcher, and maybe a tiny drop of water to help, since I use full sun. The ones with less sun grow kind of bigger but green colored

I thought I would give you an update on my little guys. They are doing SO well. I was pretty sure I would kill them straight away but....no luck. They are definitely slow growers but they have already shown some growth since I got them. I picked up some "MaxSea" fertilizer from CA Carnivores and sprinkled them a bit and it shows! I will be getting a few new pictures this week so I will be back soon with those.  |
